American Home Title of Land O’ Lakes, Inc. has been proudly serving our customer’s title needs since 1993. The original American Home Title was formed in 1979. In 1993, our founders opened a Land O’ Lakes office, which is independently owned and operated.

Together, in our Land O’ Lakes office, our Owner’s, Managers, and Closing Agents represent over 87 years of STRONG combined experience in the Title Insurance Industry. We are the proudest, oldest, most established Title Company in the Land O’ Lakes, Lutz area, serving title insurance needs statewide.

Sherri Sins

President/Closing Agent

Sherri is the President of American Home Title and has been with the company since 1994. She began her real estate career back in the 1980’s as a Realtor, from there moved to a position with FNMA in Atlanta. She came to us as a closer and was quickly offered a partnership in the American Home Title family. Sherri is the heart and soul of American Home Title, we tease her that she is the brains behind the operation, but it’s true, she is! Her clients seek her out for her knowledge and professionalism and did I mention that southern charm. Sherri was born and raised in Tennessee but has made Florida her home since 1993. Title can be complicated sometimes and Sherri has the resolve to make sure all matters are complete and the expertise to explain the issue so that everyone feels confident that clear title is issued. If she doesn’t have an answer it’s rare, but she will get it and explain it!

Rhonda Buckley

Vice President/Marketing Representative

Rhonda has been with American Home Title since May of 1991. Prior to joining American Home Title she has worked in Title and on the Mortgage side of this industry since 1982. She is currently our Marketing Representative, a job which she loves, however, you may find her greeting clients, processing, warehousing files and even at the closing table. She has worked on projects such as the Tampa International Airport runway widening, Polk Parkway, Suncoast Parkway, Veterans Expressway and the widening of HWY 41 right here in our Land O’ Lakes. Rhonda is another true Floridian, she was born at Tampa General Hospital and raised on Lake Keystone. She is very involved in her church and community. She has served on the Board of the Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce and Hernando Christian Academy. She loves working at American Home Title and truly enjoys getting to assist buyers, sellers, realtors, builders and lenders all around the closing table.

Carrie Rehus

Closing Team Associate

Carrie was born in Tampa and raised right here our little small town of Lutz from the age of 6. Carrie’s attention to detail is a natural talent that has increased over time due to the fact that right of high school, she began working in major law firms in Tampa. She worked in that realm for just shy of 20 years before bouncing over into the title world. She started on the back end of closings and worked as a mobile notary for several years, mainly so she could be home and spend more time with her husband and 3 children. She caught our eye with her kind demeaner, attention to detail and all around goodness, the rest is history, she settled here at American Home Title in October 2020. Carrie is the soft friendly voice you here on the other end of the phone, greeting you at the front door, sitting with you in the closing room carefully and thoroughly explaining your closing documents. She loves to work and truly enjoys all of the wonderful people who come through our doors. In addition to seeing her at the closing table, she is in the background order title requests, lien research reports, processing files, addressing title issues, and prepping refinance files right alongside Sherri.
